If you have a business, you (hopefully) have a website and that website probably has a copy of WordPress under the hood.

“WordPress is used by more than 24% of the top 10 million websites in the world.” – W3Techs

Right out of the box, WordPress websites can take on an unlimited number of design and style configurations. That’s the beauty of using WordPress to design websites. The downside to being so popular and good looking is that it often comes under attack from jealous hackers and malicious coders.

In all seriousness, your website could come crashing down at any time.

Having said that, It’s important to say that it may also never happen. You could have an antiquated version of WordPress running on autopilot for years and not be affected by brute force login attempts.

But it could happen… Then what?

On any given day, the website you are on now (www.kitzmillermedia.com) has dozens of failed login attempts. These are bots trying to get in. We use complex passwords and advanced applications to monitor and secure this site. It gives me some peace of mind knowing that if something were to happen, I have a backup waiting in the wings.

Every client we work with at Kitzmiller Media gets the same secure service we apply to our own site. We call it the WordPress Care Plan.

It’s a prevention plan, a backup plan and a disaster plan. Here’s everything that’s included:

Daily Offsite Backups

This is critical for operating on the web today. It’s a big place with lots of nasty ways your website can be compromised. It doesn’t happen all that often, but when it does and you don’t have a recent backup – look out! Not to mention the embarrassment of receiving an email from a customer letting you know your website is down before you even know.

Offsite backups mean your data is stored on a separate server. If backups are alongside your website files, you could potentially lose your backups too!

Last year we upgraded from Google Drive to Amazon S3 Servers. Amazon is speedier, more reliable and our backup program plays well with Amazon servers.

Every single day we backup all the files associated with your WordPress website including the database that stores all the data.

Weekly Traffic Reports

This is kind of a bonus. You wouldn’t believe how many customers we speak to that have no idea how many visitors they receive, let alone where they’re coming from or what they’re looking at.

This is very important when establishing benchmarks for a redesign. We want to make sure we increase traffic and leads to your website. Our clients receive insightful dashboard reports every Monday morning.

Uptime Monitoring

Google Webmaster Tools allows us to monitor site health and uptime. If the site goes down, we are notified immediately. All hands are on deck if this happens and we rush to investigate and resolve the problem.

Disaster Recover

It can happen, and has happened to a few of our clients. When this occurs we put everything else on hold and resolve the problem. Our clients are completely covered regardless of how extensive the damage is.

All of these services occur behind the scenes. It’s a lot of busy work requiring a comprehensive understanding of how WordPress websites function and how they interface with web hosts and third party services.

Fortunately, with a reliable WordPress Care Plan, you won’t have to worry about any of this.

We’ve partnered with some of the best and brightest minds on the web. When you sign up for our WordPress Care Plan you not only partner with the pros at Kitzmiller Media, but also with Google, VaultPress, Amazon, Sucuri and ManageWP.

Your website is in good hands.

Your website is crucial to your business. It generates leads, customers and revenue (or at least it should). It’s a channel through which customers, prospects, suppliers, potential new staff and partners will find and engage you… and judge you for that matter.[/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
